Nose
Classic juniper-forward opening, with a resinous, woody quality that gives way to coriander seed and a flicker of cassia warmth. A gentle citrus lift — lemon zest rather than juice — emerges after a minute in the glass.
Palate
Dry and assertive. The juniper comes across as piney and slightly waxy on the palate, layered with angelica root's earthy bitterness and a spicy cassia bark note. The mid-palate broadens with coriander and a whisper of orris root that lends a violet-adjacent powderiness.
Finish
Clean and bracing, with lingering pine and a dry peppery warmth. The angelica provides a pleasant bitterness that prevents any sweetness from creeping in.
