Domaine Patrick Javillier Meursault Cuvée Tête de Murger 2022
Domaine Patrick Javillier
Patrick Javillier's Tête de Murger is a blend of his best Meursault parcels, and the 2022 vintage captures the warmth of the year while retaining the precision that makes great Meursault so compelling. This is village-level Burgundy punching well above its classification — rich but never heavy, oaked but never dominated by wood.
Nose
Toasted hazelnut and brioche open alongside ripe citrus and white peach. A chalky mineral note and a whisper of vanilla from oak aging add complexity without weight.
Palate
Richly textured but precisely balanced, with buttery Chardonnay fruit, lemon curd, and a saline minerality that keeps everything taut. Toasted almond and melon appear mid-palate, with well-integrated oak providing structure rather than flavor.
Finish
Long and mineral-driven, with lingering citrus, hazelnut, and a clean, slightly honeyed fade.

Food Pairing
The lobster's sweetness and the risotto's creamy texture mirror the wine's buttery richness, while the lemon butter amplifies the citrus notes and the dish's Parmesan adds a savory counterpoint to the wine's honeyed finish.
Patrick Javillier began making wine in Meursault in 1974 with just 2.5 hectares, and his daughter Marion now oversees the domaine, which has earned a reputation for precise, terroir-driven Chardonnay from some of the village's finest parcels.

Feudi di San Gregorio Fiano di Avellino DOCG 2023
Feudi di San Gregorio
Fiano di Avellino is one of southern Italy's noblest white grapes, and Feudi di San Gregorio has been its most consistent ambassador. The 2023 delivers the grape's signature interplay of fruit richness and mineral tension at a price that makes it an easy recommendation. A serious food wine that punches well above its weight.

Pieropan Soave Classico Calvarino 2022
Pieropan
Calvarino is Pieropan's demonstration that Soave can be a wine of real complexity and ageability. The 2022 vintage captures the vineyard's volcanic character with precision, delivering a wine that overperforms its modest price point by a wide margin. This is the kind of bottle that converts Soave skeptics.

Graci Etna Bianco DOC 2023
Graci
Alberto Ferrara's Graci estate farms pre-phylloxera vines at high altitude on Etna's north slope, producing wines of remarkable tension and purity. The 2023 Etna Bianco from Carricante grapes delivers volcanic terroir in the glass — mineral, saline, and vibrating with energy. This is one of Italy's great white wine values.

Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair Bourgogne Blanc Les Charmes 2023
Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair
Thibault Liger-Belair is better known for his Nuits-Saint-Georges reds, but this Bourgogne Blanc demonstrates the same meticulous farming and minimal intervention approach. It's an honest Chardonnay that lets the limestone soils of Burgundy speak clearly. Outstanding value.
