Tree No. 4 from the Bluebell Forest in County Waterford was hand-selected for its tight grain and high tannin content—characteristics born from Ireland's slow-growing seasons, where trees endure decades of Atlantic weather before they're wide enough to yield staves. The whiskey inside, a marriage of pot still distillates aged 12 to 23 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, was then finished in hogsheads crafted from this single tree. The result is a dialogue between two kinds of patience: the slow maturation of spirit and the even slower growth of Irish oak.
