Beefeater London Garden Gin

Beefeater London Garden Gin

Beefeater · Beefeater Distillery

86 proofNASLondon, England
This extension of the Beefeater line adds garden botanicals without losing the London Dry backbone that defines the brand. The result is a gin that works equally well in a classic martini or a warm-weather spritz. Solid craftsmanship at an approachable price.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Classic juniper pine leads, but there's a distinct herbal garden character — thyme, lemon verbena, and a gentle floral sweetness. Coriander seed adds a citrus-spice bridge.

Palate

Clean and well-structured. Juniper is front and center but shares space with fresh lemon zest, a whisper of angelica root earthiness, and delicate lavender. The mid-palate shows orris root and a mild peppery warmth.

Finish

Medium, with lingering juniper and a dry, slightly floral and citrus-tinged fade.

Cocktail Suggestion

Garden Collins — 2 oz Beefeater London Garden · 1 oz fresh lemon juice · 0.75 oz lavender syrup · 3 oz soda water · Build in a highball glass over ice, stir gently, garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.

Food Pairing

Charred halloumi cheese served over a bright salad of fresh herbs — mint, dill, parsley — with shaved cucumber and a lemon-olive oil dressing. The cheese's salty char and the herbs' brightness echo the gin's botanical profile.

The Story

Distilled at Beefeater's Kennington distillery in south London, one of the last remaining gin distilleries in the city, where master distiller Desmond Payne crafted this botanical extension of the classic recipe.
