Tamdhu 15 Year Old Sherry Oak Casks
Tamdhu · Tamdhu Distillery
Tamdhu's exclusive use of sherry casks from their own cooperage in Jerez gives this 15-year expression a coherence that many sherry-matured whiskies lack. The patience shows — fifteen years in first-fill and refill oloroso casks produces depth without the tannic heaviness that can plague overdone sherry bombs. Excellent value in its class.
Nose
Dried fruit — dates and figs — leads the nose, supported by honey and toasted almond. A faint rosewater note emerges alongside warm clove spice as it opens up.
Palate
Creamy and full, with caramel and dark cocoa arriving on a buttery mouthfeel. The sherry influence is unmistakable but restrained, yielding orange marmalade and a subtle earthy undertone.
Finish
Medium-long with woody spice and lingering dried fruit, tapering to dark chocolate and a whisper of vanilla.

Jura 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Jura
Jura 10 is an island malt that sidesteps the peat-bomb stereotype entirely. Its restraint is its strength — a whisky shaped by geography rather than process, tasting of the rain and wind that batter its remote island home. Ideal as a gateway to island Scotch.

Noah's Mill Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
Noah's Mill
Noah's Mill is barrel-proof bourbon without apology. Its intensity rewards patience — a splash of water opens the caramel and softens the leather into something rich and contemplative. A serious sipper for those who want their bourbon to push back.

Crossbill Highland Dry Gin
Crossbill
Crossbill is a gin that refuses to compromise on juniper. Using only Scottish juniper berries and rosehip, it delivers one of the most juniper-forward profiles available — a gin built for G&T purists and Martini devotees who want the pine to sing. It tastes like the Scottish Highlands in a glass.

Rhum Clément Select Barrel Rhum Agricole
Clément
Clément Select Barrel is an excellent entry point into aged agricole rhum. The barrel aging tames the raw grassy intensity without erasing it, creating a spirit that bridges the gap between agricole purists and aged rum lovers. At its price, it's one of the best values in the category.

Glen Moray 12 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Glen Moray
Glen Moray has long been Speyside's overlooked neighbor, producing reliably excellent whisky at prices that make collectors look twice. This 12-year-old is the backbone of the range — a Speyside archetype with enough depth to reward close attention.

Glengoyne 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Glengoyne
Glengoyne's unhurried distillation — the slowest in Scotland — yields a malt of uncommon refinement for its age. The 12 Year Old is a benchmark for what sherry-matured Highland whisky should taste like without peat or smoke to lean on. Pure malt character at an accessible price.

Benromach Cask Strength Vintage 2012
Benromach
Benromach's cask strength vintages are consistently excellent value, and the 2012 is no exception. The distillery's signature gentle peat adds complexity without domination, and the high proof delivers texture rather than heat. A well-rounded Speyside with a backbone.
