Domaine de la Mordorée Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge 2020
Domaine de la Mordorée
The 2020 vintage delivered exceptional ripeness in the southern Rhône, and Mordorée captures that generosity without sacrificing balance. This is a Châteauneuf that pivots between power and elegance — a wine for the table, not the trophy case.
Domaine de la Mordorée Lirac Rouge La Reine des Bois 2021
Domaine de la Mordorée
Lirac sits across the river from Châteauneuf-du-Pape and shares much of its geology — limestone, clay, and the famous galets roulés — at a fraction of the price. Mordorée's La Reine des Bois cuvée treats its terroir with as much seriousness as any Châteauneuf grand cru. The 2021 vintage brings freshness and precision to the powerful Southern Rhône fruit profile. Outstanding value for what's in the glass.
Domaine de la Mordorée Condrieu 2023
Domaine de la Mordorée
Condrieu is Viognier at its most unapologetically hedonistic, and Mordorée's 2023 captures the variety's essence — rich, aromatic, and sun-drenched — without tipping into flabbiness. The granite terraces of Condrieu force the vines to struggle, and that tension between heat-driven ripeness and mineral restraint is what makes this wine compelling rather than merely lush.
