Boann The Whistler Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish Single Malt Irish Whiskey
The Whistler
Boann's patient approach to fermentation and careful sherry cask finishing produces a whiskey that punches well above its modest price point. The interplay of malty cereal sweetness with oloroso richness speaks directly to fermentation's quiet authority—yeast's slow, steady work made beautifully visible. An accessible Irish single malt that rewards contemplation.
Boann The Whistler Blue Note Blend Irish Whiskey
Boann Distillery
The Cooney family launched Boann Distillery with ambition and attention to detail, and the Blue Note Blend reflects that ethos. It's uncomplicated but not simple — a well-calibrated blend that demonstrates the distillery's emerging confidence. An excellent entry point to a producer worth tracking.
Boann The Whistler Marsala Cask Finish Single Pot Still
The Whistler
A confident, characterful pot still that uses Marsala not as makeup but as memory — the cask's sun-baked history bleeds into every sip. Among the most distinctive independent Irish releases of recent years.
